The Hawkdun Lodge is located in the town of Ranfurly on the Maniototo Plain.
The Maniototo has been depicted in the paintings of well known artist Grahame Sydney. The area is known for its ‘big skies’, its magical colours and hues, its intriguing past, its continental climate and its friendly people.
The Hawkdun Lodge is situated on the main road (State Highway 85) and so is easy to find whether one is coming from inland or from the east coast. We are also very close (50m) to the Otago Central Otago Rail Trail.
From the Hawkdun Lodge it is an easy walk to the shops, pub and cafes in the town.
