High country experience
For those wanting to get out and experience the remote tussocky high country, half day and full day 4 wheel drive excursions are available - www.railtrailadventures.co.nz.
Curling
The ancient Scottish game of curling can be played all year in the indoor curling rink in Naseby. While there are many nuances to curling it is none-the-less a game that most can pick up and play.
At the curling rink you will be made most welcome and encouraged to ‘have a go’. It is a game of lots of fun for families and groups of friends. You will be given tuition, stones and brooms and then the rest is up to you. After your fun on the ice, stay and have a drink and watch others to see if they can play better than you!
